Cert PTC Fees
The full course fee for The Cert PTC 2026-27 is £3,860.

An Early Bird Booking Discount may be claimed until 30th April 2026.

A limited number of bursaries are offered each year. Please contact us for more information about bursaries.
Applicants who have successfully completed the Foundation or Introductory Course (2025 onwards) are entitled to a 25% reduction on the full course fee of £3,860. This offer may not be combined with any other discounts.
Early Bird Booking Discount

A 10% discount on full course fees is available, reducing the course fees to £3474 until midnight on 30th April 2026.
Members of associated organisations may claim a 15% discount in place of the standard early bird discount. Please see below for eligibility information.

What your fees include
​
Whether you choose to work towards The Certificate of the Piano Teachers’ Course UK or The Certificate of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), the course fee remains the same. The course may be taken entirely online, but attending the in-person residential sessions in October, February and April, along with the first and final course days, is highly recommended. We strongly recommend enrolling for The Certificate of the Piano Teachers’ Course UK, which also includes the CPD Certificate, certified by the CPD Certification Service. Attending in person, whenever possible, offers a far richer and more rewarding experience with a more in-depth opportunity to learn, share, and connect with fellow teachers.
In person attendance

If attending in person your fee includes all tuition, individual coaching and guidance from your personal tutor, accommodation and meals on residential weekends, and, dependant on your result and attendance record, your two certificates at the end of the course.
Online attendance

If attending the entire course online, your fee includes all tuition, individual coaching and guidance from your personal tutor, up to 5 additional tutor sessions as required in between course days, access to lecture recordings for the duration of the course, and, dependant on your result and attendance record, your two certificates at the end of the course.

It is possible to swap between the Cert PTC and the Certificate of Continuing Professional Development within the first three months.
Swapping between in-person and online participation is possible at any time throughout the duration of the course.
If you opt for The Certificate of Continuing Professional Development, depending on your attendance record, you will receive your CPD certificate at the end of the course, .
Bursaries

How to enrol and payment options
To enrol, you will need to submit your application form together with your deposit online, amount tbc.

If you choose to pay in one lump sum your deposit is 10% of the course fee. The remainder of the fee is then due by 1st September 2026.

If you choose to pay in ten monthly instalments, September – June, your deposit is 20% of the course fee.
Eligibility for Associate Member Discount
Members of The Curious Piano Teachers, EPTA, ISM, and Practising the Piano Online Academy may claim a 15% discount on the full course fee for enrolments made by 30 April 2026.
The discounted fee for eligible members is £3,281.
Additional Discount for CPD Workshop/Taster Day Attendees
If you have attended one or more of our CPD Workshops or Taster Days during 2025–26, you may be eligible for an additional reduction in course fees, in addition to the early bird discount.

In-person CPD Workshops:
Eligible attendees may receive up to an additional £100 reduction in the course fee. -
Online CPD Workshops:
Eligible attendees may receive up to an additional £50 reduction in the course fee.
This additional discount is applied once only, regardless of the number of CPD workshops or taster days attended.
If a discounted rate was applied to your CPD workshop fee, the reduction applied to The Cert PTC will be adjusted proportionately.
What happens after registering
After you have submitted your application and deposit online, you will receive an invoice with your payment schedule (less any discounts that you are eligible for) with details of how to make further payments. Payment can be made via PayPal if requested.
Please note that the deposit for the course is non-refundable.
