Cert PTC Fees
Fees for the Cert PTC are £3500. Please check here to see if you are eligible for a discount. We also offer bursaries to a limited number of students every year.
Two course options are available
The Certificate of the Piano Teachers' Course UK
(The Cert PTC)
Or
The Certificate of the Professional Development
same course content but excluding written assignments

What your fees include
​
Whether attending the course entirely online, or in person for the residential sessions in October, February and April and the first and last days (highly recommended), the fee is the same.
In person attendance
​
If attending in person your fee includes all tuition, individual coaching and guidance from your personal tutor, accommodation and meals on residential weekends, and your certificate at the end of the course.
Online attendance
​

If attending the entire course online, your fee includes all tuition, individual coaching and guidance from your personal tutor, up to 5 additional tutor sessions as required in between course days, access to lecture recordings for the duration of the course, and your certificate at the end of the course.

It is possible to swap between the Cert PTC and the Certificate of Professional Development within the first three months. Swapping between in-person and online participation is possible at any time throughout the duration of the course.
Bursaries
​​​A limited number of bursaries towards course fees are available for those in need of financial assistance. For a bursary application form and further details please click ​here. We still have one or two bursaries available for 2025-26.
How to enrol and payment options
To enrol, you will need to submit your application form together with your deposit online, amount tbc.

If you choose to pay in one lump sum your deposit is 10% of the course fee. The remainder of the fee is then due by 1st September 2025.

If you choose to pay in ten monthly instalments, September – June, your deposit is 20% of the course fee.
Discount for associate members
Members of The Curious Piano Teachers, EPTA, ISM and Practising the Piano Online Academy may claim a discount of 5% off the full course fee if enrolling by Friday 19th September 2025. This means that members of our associate companies will pay a total of £3325 if enrolling by this date.

If you have attended any of our Workshops or Taster Days in 2024-25 you are eligible for an additional discount. If you attended in person you may claim £100 off course fees. If you attended on line you may claim £50. This reduction in fees is on top of the early bird discount and is a maximum of £100 or £50 regardless of how many one-day events you attended.

What happens after registering
After you have submitted your application and deposit online, you will receive an invoice with your payment schedule (less any discounts that you are eligible for) with details of how to make further payments. Payment can be made via PayPal if requested.
Please note that the deposit for the course is non-refundable.
