The Masayuki Tayama Bursary
In memory of our beloved friend Masayuki Tayama, who passed away in 2023, and with enormous gratitude to his family we are able to offer a bursary to honour his amazing legacy as a pianist, teacher and course director. We hope this bursary will enable gifted students to enrol on our courses who might otherwise be prevented due to financial constraints. Bursaries are only available to part fund the Cert PTC Course or Advanced Piano Teachers' Course. Please use the application form in the link below to apply for bursary funding for the 2026-27 Cert PTC. Please write to us at info@pianoteacherscourse.co.uk to find out about bursary funding for The Advanced Piano Teachers' Course. Masa was a brilliant musician and pianist so as part of the application process you will be asked to send in a recording of your playing and successful applicants will be judged on merit as well as their personal circumstances. The closing date for the Masayuki Tayama Bursary Fund for 2026-2027 courses is 30th June 2026.
