PTC 2015-16

The PTC Class of 2014-15 was 25 strong. This is what they have to say…

025aI’m halfway through the EPTA PTC. It’s an outstanding course, which I can’t recommend highly enough. It covers a broad range of teaching as well as your own playing skills. Brilliant tutors, good facilities at Purcell School of Music (foods’ not bad either) and a great way to meet other teachers. They also offer the CME as an additional qualification. Hard work but well worth it!! Rob

Just when you thought you might have made it as a piano teacher this course shows you that there is always more to learn! It demands commitment and a willingness to rise to the challenge but in return it will open your eyes to a vast array of knowledge and teaching ideas. You will leave the course with renewed confidence and insight into what the world of piano teaching should really be and you won’t want to use a tutor book that begins with Middle C again! It’s a must for anyone who cares about the future of piano playing! Pat

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my year doing the PTC and wish I could do it all over again! Yes it was hard work and extremely challenging at times but I have learnt so much, made so many good friends and my playing has vastly improved beyond measure. I have been teaching for nearly twenty five years but this has inspired and refreshed my lessons. Definitely not just a course for those new to teaching but highly relevant to experienced teachers too. Excellent value for money too!” Sarah

“Taking the PTC course was extremely hard work but very helpful. I really enjoyed meeting other piano teachers, and being able to get all my questions answered. I learned a lot and am now much more confident in my teaching as a result.” Rhoda
